Antonieta Lima holds a Ph.D in management and is an Auxiliary Professor at Portucalense University Infante D. Henrique and an Adjunct Professor at the Higher Institute of Entre Douro and Vouga (ISVOUGA) in the areas of taxation, general accounting, management accounting and management control. Is also the Vice-President of the ISVOUGA´s Technical-Scientific Council and Head of the U3Is research unit. Is Editor of the online journal “Portuguese Journal of Finance, Management and Accounting (PJFMA)”, and Reviewer of the online journals “Portuguese Journal of Finance, Management and Accounting" (PJFMA)”, “International Journal of Marketing, Communication and New Media (IJMCNM)”, and "E3". Antonieta is a member of several research centers, namely, U3Is, CEPESE, CETRAD and REMIT. Besides being a professor, is also co-author of several books related to Six Sigma and Finance.
Antonieta has worked in several corporate finance positions within some of the well-known national firms, starting as an Certified Accountant (by OTOC), then moving up through the ranks to become Financial Director. Antonieta has more than 20 years of finance experience and is the Managing Director of a consulting firm that consults in the areas of finance, business improvement (with Six Sigma, Lean and, more recently, LeanSix Sigma), project management, and training.
