P.PORTO's cultural programme includes regular, active plastic arts programming. The institution boasts an important collection of Portuguese paintings, which was the theme of an exhibition at the Soares dos Reis National Museum (and of a book dedicated to it) in 2015. Also in 2015, the 30th anniversary of the Polytechnic of Porto was marked by a collective exhibition in the Palace of the Arts, Porto, which welcomed national and foreign artists - such as José Rufino and Karen Lacroix - through the School of Education's artist residency programme.
